Dr. Don A. Hatfield is a retired dentist, married to Adette, who is a retired nurse, for 39 years.  They have a son, Alan, who lives in New York City.  Dr. Hatfield was a Navy dentist for a combined total of 27 years active and reserve time, serving in duty stations in Japan and Southern California, and was deployed to Operation Desert Storm.  After leaving active duty in the Navy in 1999, he and Adette transferred to Columbia, Missouri where both worked 17 years at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital.   Dr. Hatfield retired as Chief of the Dental Service and Adette retired as a Nurse Educator on the same day.  Dr. Hatfield also has a Law Degree as well as a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration.  He has also worked part-time as a dentist in the Missouri Correctional System for a combined total of 8 years.  Dr. Hatfield and Adette are members of The Crossing Church in Columbia, Missouri and both lead a Small Group.  With Adette’s many relatives living around the world, the two enjoy traveling.  They also enjoy taking care of their blind dog, Oscar.
